One time at Band Camp

Today I had band camp 8-12. Yes, I twirled my flag for 4 hours. Today we went over the field show like 3 times. That's not a lot. I actually wanted to do it more because we have a competition tomorrow and I want to be ready. I guess last year the color guard got 2 stars out of 5 maybe? or maybe it was 4. Probably 5. That's not a very good rating. Hopefully we will be better this year! I'm in it for the first time this year, and I'm kinda nervous. I messed up at last nights game. I picked up a flag when I wasn't supposed to =( oh well, no one noticed anyways.

So last night A and her crew ( my old friends) came to the football game again. Why do they even come? It's not even their schools! A goes to one in a city over from me and the other 2 go to another one. I guess they said hi to B. That's what he told me. They didn't even look at me, which i find really rude. One of them said that they didn't see me but yeah right. I was sitting in the very front row of where the color guard was sitting and I made eye contact with them while I was on the field doing the show. I'm now thinking that maybe they are jealous of me because I have a new boyfriend so soon, and he's wicked cute. It's kinda cute though because he like 6 feet and I'm 4'11 (or maybe 5 feet now, not sure) !

I actually realized today that I have met some really good friends at school. I have met 3 girls I really click with and some guys too. Ive also met some upperclassmen that are really nice. Its really funny though because one of the girls I became friends with is the daughter of my mom's old friend. Our moms went to college together and they became friends and somehow drifted apart when they graduated. I think that's really weird yet like fate at the same time...
